The council meets on the second Monday each month, 8:30-10:30am in room 151 of the Lausmann Annex at 200 South Ivy in Medford.

Education and outreach remains an important part of the Bear Creek Watershed Council’s work as so much of the watershed is affected by urban and rural impacts. BCWC has had contact with hundreds of residents while participating at many events, outdoor education programs, and lecture courses. As part of the Council’s on the ground work, riparian restoration has been completed in several locations and an undersized culvert was replaced and the stream channel at Wrights Cr. reconfigured to make it fish friendly. Partnerships continue to build with the Council’s efforts to cross boundaries and improve the watershed on multiple fronts.
