The Council had a very busy 2006 project season, completing the North Kerby Ditch and Moser Ditch projects and providing project support for the Sucker Creek project.  The Council is especially proud to have completed the North Kerby Ditch project.  That project provides the last of the agricultural producers along Sauer’s Flat near Kerby, OR with their water rights from a screened pump and pipeline system.  The private landowners cooperating in the project are no longer dependent on the old gravel push up dam in the East Fork of the Illinois River to provide them with their water rights.
