The Councils meets the second Thursday of each month at 6pm.

The North Santiam Watershed Council is implementing a restoration strategy targeting tributaries and side channels of the North Santiam River.  This strategy focuses on partnering with multiple landowners along these waterways to survey existing conditions, identify and prioritize project opportunities and restore stream habitat.  The purpose is to target high priority habitat types for salmon and steelhead and provide connectivity of restoration efforts for effective cost-benefits. The Council is currently partnering with over 50 landowners on 5 tributaries and 2 side channels on projects including fish passage barrier removal, large wood placement to enhance habitat, noxious weed removal and streamside vegetation restoration.
