The Council meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 7:00pm.
The
Rickreall Watershed Council had a Celebrate the Creek Day with Claudia
the giant Chinook. Each year the Council and its partners hold
this event in Dallas. The event includes a group of volunteers
who clean up a stretch of Rickreall Creek and kids activities such as a
free fishing derby. Everybody enjoys the visit from Claudia the
Chinook, the council's foam and fiberglass walk through model. A
mural inside teaches viewers about the watershed and the life cycle of
salmon. Claudia is also available to rent and she migrates
throughout the state to spawn interest and learning.
