Their general meeting is the last Wednesday of every month at 6:30, usually in Mapleton at the Mapleton Grange Hall.

Over 110 landowners planted over 10,000 native riparian trees and shrubs as part of the 2010 Siuslaw Native Plant Distribution (Riparian Restoration) Project.  The 2010 project builds on over 10 years of similar projects which have resulted in more than 375 riparian landowners participating.  Each year, around 50 acres of stream and lakeside native vegetation have been planted in the Siuslaw and Coastal Lakes basins through these volunteer driven projects.  Many more acres of plantings are maintained by landowners and the SWC’s Restoration Crew (displaced fishermen).  For many landowners these projects open the door to more involved restoration projects including fish passage improvements or large woody debris placement.
