The South Coast Watersheds Council's Foodsheds program supports local agriculture, and provides a direct link between growers of high quality local foods, and consumers. Their web-site – curryfoods.org – connects people who are interested in grass-fed beef, organic cranberries, farm fresh eggs, etc – with growers interested in selling locally. The council extends this program to include students who grow school gardens, and participate in restoration projects on farms and ranches.
