The Council meets at the ODFW office in Tillamook at 4907 Third St. from 6:30-8:30 on the last Tuesday of every month.

In a unique watershed scale project, nine partners collaborated to improve salmon habitat in the Tillamook State Forest on adjacent Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) and Bureau of Land Management land (BLM).  The partners included ODF, BLM, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Tillamook Estuaries Partnership, the Tillamook Bay Watershed Council, Nestucca High School, and several funders, including the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board.  Many people were on the ground throughout the summer of 2005 to assist with the in-stream placement of 38 log and boulder structures that provide essential wintering habitat for juvenile salmon throughout 1.5 miles of stream.   Additional project objectives included replacing three fish passage barrier culverts, decommissioning 2.85 miles of forest roads and planting five acres of riparian habitat.
