The Council meets at the ODFW office in Tillamook at 4907 Third St. from 6:30-8:30 on the last Tuesday of every month.

The Tillamook Bay Watershed Council has developed a close partnership with the Tillamook School District. They have brought hundreds of students out in the field to do pre- and post-project monitoring on watershed projects.  Currently, they are working with the Natural Resources Coordinator at the Tillamook School District to utilize students to do pre-project monitoring on the Wilson-Trask Wetlands.  Students are learning how to use GPS units to gather data and are then using that data to create GIS maps.  This pre-project monitoring is mapping plant communities, noting locations of animals, and identifying landscape features.  The data will be extremely important once these wetlands are restored and allowed to flood on a regular basis.  Students will continue their long-term monitoring over the next few years and the Tillamook Bay Watershed Council is delighted to be using local on the ground projects to teach students about science and natural resource management.
