Data Collection and Management (announcement)

ODFW’s Data Clearinghouse and the Natural Resources Information Management Program (NRIMP)

ODFW’s Natural Resources Information Management Program (NRIMP) created the Data Clearinghouse to capture results from Oregon Plan funded projects conducted by partner agencies and watershed councils, and to share the information through a single statewide online library.

NRIMP staff have created electronic data templates in the form of Excel spreadsheets and Access databases.  Templates were created for the most commonly conducted surveys; electro-fishing, spawning, aquatic inventory (habitat), snorkel and fish trapping. We hope these templates will help watershed councils with their data management.

Data Templates and Instructions can be downloaded from the Data Clearinghouse website.

At this time we are soliciting reviews of the data templates via a short questionnaire.

Fill out the short questionnaire.
