The Network of Oregon Watershed Councils is pleased to announce this year’s Network and Council Volunteer award recipients.  We received several nominations from throughout the state and want to thank those who took the time to recognize the hard work of others.  Our Awards Committee (5 coordinators from around the state) reviewed the nominations and independently ranked the nominees for each category.  Those independent scores were combined to determine this year’s award recipients. Thanks to the Awards Committee for making some difficult choices among excellent nominees. 

Representative Patti Smith and Network Chair Liz Redon presented the following awards at the 2007 Gathering.  Each award winner was presented with a certificate of appreciation for their service to Oregon watershed councils.  In addition they all recieved the book Rivers of America book signed by author and photographer by Tim Palmer.
